We believe all students can learn if academics and strategies are modeled and differentiated for each student to make learning less challenging.

Phelps Tutoring specializes in tutoring students K-12th grade. We offering tutoring in all major subjects which includes Math, Reading, Writing, Social Studies and Science.

Personalized Lessons
We provide one-on-one tutoring to work at the pace of each child. We strive to meet the students where they are and to allow the students to give their own feedback on their learning. Our tutoring sessions are virtual and booked for 1 hour each session. Students can receive tutoring up to 2-3 times a week depending on the schedule and pace of the child.

Mr. Phelps enjoys seeing learning "click" for a student. He has his endorsement in secondary Math and currently teaches at the middle school level. Mr. Phelps graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelors Degree in Engineering Technology. He believes in breaking down subject matter for the student to truly get the material. Mr.

Mrs. Phelps is a life long learner and licensed in teaching grades Pk-6th grade. She graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelors Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in Special Education. She also received her Masters Degree in Elementary Education. Her belief is that all students can learn when presented with quality instruction and educators who care.
